A young boy and his grandfather spend front-porch time playing music and learning from each other. Their music draws in diverse community members for enjoyment, dancing, singing, and playing a variety of bluegrass instruments. A picture glossary of the instruments is included in the back as well as a brief history and explanation of bluegrass music.
